SET-Routes Audio Portraits

Airtime for women scientists in Europe

In an attempt to encourage young women to pursue careers in science, engineering and technology (SET), the SET-Routes Audio Portraits feature a series of interviews with successful women scientists from all over Europe.

The scientists talk openly about the development of their careers and how, through dedication and commitment, they managed to reach the top echelons of SET. At the end of the interview they each give one piece of advice to young women scientists who want to follow similar career paths towards decision-making positions.

The SET-Routes Audio Portraits constitute a valuable source for anybody wanting to inform themselves about career opportunities and the rewards that can be gained from a scientific career.

The series is ongoing, with new interviews continuously being added to the website. Please stay tuned!

The movies are available as Flash, Quicktime or MP3 files.
